We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Technical Assistant - Pharmacy Quality Assurance to join the Pharmacy Technical Services department!
The role will involve being based at Southend Hospital but will require cross site working with the other sites in the MSE Trust. Southend Hospital is ideally situated to 2 main train lines and the coast.37.5 hours per week The hours are:Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day

Main duties of the job
The post holder will have a day to day responsibility to assist in offering assurance that Quality Standards are met in all aspects of pharmacy production. They will be given on the job training in specific laboratory testing and other procedures and in the use of appropriate laboratory equipment. Additional training in Good Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Practice, the requirements of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015, - Quality management systems will also be given.
NOTE: This Job Description covers a post which has responsibilities to a number of contracted NHS Trusts, Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in addition to MSE NHS Foundation Trust. In this Job Description the term "Trusts" implies all the contracted Trusts, and any Private Finance Initiative (PFI) partners with whom contract may also be agreed.
