Job summary
We have a great opportunity for you to join our friendly, supportive outgoing recruitment team as a Recruitment Assistant on our International desk.
You'll be delivering a fast, accurate customer focused end to end recruitment service and as such, you will need to be customer service orientated and a committed individual who enjoys delivering a Gold Star service to managers and candidates alike.
You will build strong relationships with our departments and colleagues across our three hospital sites.
We will deliver safe and high-quality services and be an employer of choice for our workforce. Our recruitment and workforce services teams are based in the corporate services hub is based in Britannia Park in Southend, however there may be need to travel across the three hospital sites.
Main duties of the job
As a recruitment assistant you'll oversee the end-to-end recruitment process.
This will involve:
- Advertising Vacancies,
- Administering offers
- Conducting and recording the pre-employment checks through to booking start dates and finalising the onboarding process for successful candidates
- Communicating with and supporting hiring managers and candidates over the phone, face to face and via email
Adherence to the NHS employment check standards and compliance with appropriate employment legislation which will result in the delivery of a comprehensive and responsive recruitment service within the Trust
You will be working closely with the Senior Recruitment Assistants, Recruitment Advisors and the Recruitment Managers, supporting and collaborating with the team to deliver the recruitment service level agreement in place. This will be through; coordinating recruitment activities, providing an effective, efficient and customer focused service which meets the changing needs of the Groups' services and clinical areas.
