Job summary
We have a new and exciting role for a Therapist to join our dynamic and professional Clinical Informatics Services at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be integral in bringing therapies on our EPR journey.
To work as part of the Clinical Informatics team within Digital Services. We are a group of like minded nurses, midwives and Drs looking for a therapist to compliment the team. There are opportunities to work across the sites within MSE and remotely if needed.
Liaise with colleagues and ensure the Digital Strategy is clear to all. Facilitate and participate in process mapping of the services and be the voice of therapies within the digital space.
Main duties of the job
The Associate AHP Information Officer will play a key role in ensuring that electronic clinical systems and technology is used effectively and efficiently to meet the desired outcomes.
This role will focus on the people side of change to systems and technology, and any resulting changes to clinical processes, job roles or organisation structures.
This role is essential to a change in culture within MSE towards a greater reliance on assistive technology and digital information being used by frontline staff to better manage patient care.
You will have significant experience in identifying the learning needs of staff and gaps in their knowledge, negotiating changes in practice and creating a skilled and safe clinical workforce.
You will be flexible and adaptable and become a champion for the implementation of assistive technology and digital clinical information systems within the Trust.
