The eRostering Team has recently moved to be part of a newly established 'Establishment Systems Team' in the Finance Division of Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. It is an exciting time to join the eRostering Team as we embark on improved ways of working in alignment with the Trust focus on improving value and to have a single version of the truth with our Workforce Establishment data.
Reporting to the eRostering Senior Analyst, the post holder will provide routine day to day operational support, advice and guidance to end-users and first line telephone support for a variety of rostering related queries and requests such as roster creation, shifts, unavailability, roster related pay queries and maintaining roster accuracy.

Reporting to the eRostering Senior Analyst, the post holder will provide routine day to day operational support, advice and guidance to end-users and first line telephone support for a variety of rostering related queries and requests such as roster creation, shifts, unavailability, roster related pay queries and maintaining roster accuracy.
The post holder will be expected to deliver training to end users supporting roster compliance and best practice in all roster activity, supporting optimal staff deployment and delivering safe consistent care across the Trust. This will contribute to the overall effectiveness of planned rosters by offering system based advice on key actions and system functionality, referring to user guides, training manuals, policies and SOPs.
The role will include data entry tasks, data quality checks and data corrections as well as assisting the eRostering Manager and Senior Analysts to generate reports for key stakeholders to plan and share roster performance data to improve roster performance through use of evidence.Support team colleagues in their training, coaching and outreach activity across the Trust to help improve the use of eRostering systems and achieve full benefits realisation.

Reporting to the eRostering Senior Analyst, the post holder willprovide routine day to day operational customer service support to end-users via telephone, email and support tickets raised on our self-service portal. The post-holder will advocate and advise on best practice in all roster activity.
You will offer day to day support to roster users answering complex and routine queries, advising end users on application of policy and best practice, ensuring contract and payroll queries are managed and resolved, and supporting optimal staff deployment and deliveringsafe consistent care across the Trust.
Ensure that the Trust operates a safe, consistent and cost effective eRostering service, with a focus on data quality and patient safety, working closely with the temporary staffing service to support safe workforce models through effective planning and deployment of resources and challenging instances of poor or inadequate planning through the use of evidence based data and reference to best practice.
Provide support to the team in order to deliver an effective, efficient and customer focused service, which meets the changing needs of the NHS, the organisation, managers, employees, and members of the public.The post holder will support colleagues across MSE sites, interacting with clinical and corporate colleagues, supporting clinical requirements during surge/escalation activity, intake of newly qualified staff and planned service changes.
