Job summary
An exciting role at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust has arisen to join part of the Legal Services Department.
You will work with colleagues across the Trust to manage legal claims from receipt to settlement, and to assist in the administration of matters notified by HM Coroner and their officers, and other ad hoc legal matters.
We are a busy team within the Governance Department at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, working a hybrid work pattern of partly working from home and partly office based in Southend.
Main duties of the job
Main duties to include: To ensure that all claims and inquests notified to the Trust are appropriately registered and managed within the Legal Services team.
To assist the Legal Service Managers in the administration and management of claims by analysis of correspondence received, arranging the disclosure of relevant documents to Claimant solicitors and ensuring that statements / reports are received from all relevant parties and disseminated as necessary.
