An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team.
The Automation developer is responsible for the design, creation and ongoing support of intelligent robotic process automations built within one of the Trusts software automation platforms.
You will be an experienced automation developer with good knowledge across all areas of technology such as infrastructure, networks and security & data standards. A junior developer will work with qualified developers within and outside of MSE for support, guidance with a clear development pathway to become a certified developer.
The Mid & South Essex (MSE) Automation Services team collaborate with staff across the organisation to understand challenges and design innovative solutions using automation to make time matter and enabling our staff to spend more time caring and supporting our patients.
Working with an existing team of automation staff ranging from apprentices to established developers. Business change experts work with our staff to understand current state processes, improve and streamline those and generate a blueprint for automation for our developers. Engagement and understanding of the process is key for a technical solution to be framed around that requirement. Innovative thinkers and a background in programming will be a useful skillset for the applicant to possess.
Technical platform experience with Blue Prism and Power Automate is required.
Main duties of the job
- Interface with the business to understand low-level process and design technical solutions.
- Develop intelligent automations
- Provide an efficient and stable automation service
- Understand technical inter dependencies in an environment with an ambitious Digital Transformation programme with cloud first approach.
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Develop skills and experience on a pathway to become a certified developer. This will include an academic route to a masters in Software Development inclusive with the post.
