Job summary

The Service Desk Manager will oversee and manage the 3 Number Estates & Facilities Help desks, managing the performance of the help desk operatives, providing team members with regular constructive feedback relating to performance and behaviour.
They will also oversee the stores Operations on each site, liaising with management on stores related issues.
The Service Desk Manager will be responsible for collating and providing performance date to the Estates Operations Manager and other senior managers as requested.
Be responsible for completing department sickness reviews, manage annual leave, staff appraisals, performance reviews and will have responsibility for department budgets.
Understand the maintenance operational process and ensure that the CAFM system collects all relevant data to support the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services.
The Service Desk Manager will ensure reports are produced and shared with Board of Directors, Senior Managers, Operational managers/Supervisors across the Trust based on the performance of maintenance services/staff to ensure KPI's are met.

Main duties of the job
The Service Desk Manager will be able to effectively advise, instruct and train colleagues, and other groups, in the operation of helpdesk systems.
The Service Desk Manager shall be able to collate detailed management reports for all services that are utilising the CAFM system
Liaise with the CAFM service administrator to ensure data bases are set up to Manage Hard & Soft FM services across the Trust.
Ensure the system is capable of the following:
- Managing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs
- Accept reactive maintenance requests
- Accept requests for Soft FM services
- Produce worksheets for all work requests (Soft & Hard FM)
- Enable staff to complete and enter the outcome of any work requests assigned.
- Provide monthly audit reports for Management meetings
- Ensure contractors complete worksheet requests and their information is inputted into the CAFM database.
- Managing the stores stock control.
