Job summary
The ERAN (Early Rehabilitation and Nursing) Team have a wonderful opportunity to join their Community based friendly supportive team as Deputy Lead Nurse on an 18 month secondment.

The ERAN (Early Rehabilitation and Nursing) Team provides nursing and rehabilitation to orthopaedic patients in the community that provides a tailor made service for our patients who have undergone lower limb replacement surgery/hip fixation and consists of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, senior assistants and administrator support.
The team work Monday-Friday currently but there are always plans for improving services. The enhanced recovery programme is a large project within MSK and ERAN will be instrumental in this implementation.
It is essential that you have a full driving license and access to a car as the majority of your role will be within the community setting.
Main duties of the job
You will become part of our motivated team of orientated professionals with a passion for delivering good nursing care in an ever changing environment ensuring that an individual programme of care is planned, implemented and evaluated for each patient within own sphere of responsibility.
You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the patients, acting as team leader and positive role model, including taking charge of the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager/Deputy Ward Manager and participating in all relevant aspects of the Governance process.
