Our Resuscitation Service has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse to join its friendly and supportive team as a Resuscitation Practioner Band 6 or Senior Resuscitation Practioner Band 7, the appropriate banding ,dependant on experience and qualifications held, to be discussed at interview.
We are looking for a experienced clinician, motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, dedicated to working as part of our friendly team that takes pride in nurturing a supportive environment in which to work while ensuring we deliver a high quality service.
As our Resuscitation Practitioner you will provide care and specialist advice in the clinical area in relation to equipment, the deteriorating patient pathway, cardiac arrest prevention and management.
Southend is a Resuscitation Council registered course centre for the ALS, EPALS and NLS courses. The Resuscitation Practitioner team provide all levels of resuscitation training to the multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be to act as a key resource in the provision, review and development of resuscitation practice in the clinical environment and to organise, plan and provide resuscitation training to various levels of employees and appropriate individuals within the Trust.
You will participate in service improvement and audit activities. You will also deputise in the day to day management of the service in the absence of the Lead.
