Here at MSE an exciting opportunity as a Transport Supervisor has become available within our friendly and dedicated MSE Transport Department. Due to a long-term employee reducing their hours, we have created a position which is part of a job share.
This is a 12 Month Fixed Term position, working 22.5 hours per week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the supervision of the MSE Transport department and staff, supporting the MSE Transport manager in the overall provision and monitoring of the MSE Transport service, based at Broomfield Hospital.
You will be able to remain calm under pressure with situations which can be demanding. You will ensure a high standard of service is maintained in all areas of responsibility and will work in the required manner to ensure that an efficient services is provided at all times.

- To ensure all staff are fully trained in regards to all Trust and local procedures
- Maintain training records and ensure staff are up to date with Mandatory and service specific training requirements
- Plan and supervise the work of the drivers and admin staff within the Transport department
- Be aware of financial budgets and spend appropriately within the limits
- Responsible for the raising of requisitions on e-financials for the approval of the MSE Transport Manager
