Job summary
The role will be responsible for managing and ensuring the quality and integrity of input data and transactional changes complete by the service desk team.
Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the post holder will provide leadership to Reporting and Governance Analyst, deputising for the team manager, assisting with, and developing the skills of the team, and providing timely service desk data to Clinical and Corporate Directorates.
The role will support the work of the Service Desk Manager to plan, lead and empower the service desk team, co-ordinating team effort and resources, guiding successful delivery, improving best practice, and delivering a quality assured service to end users.
Ensure that the Trust receive timely and accurate service desk data that enable effective planning and deployment of resources. The service should be fully compliant with national guidelines and local policy requirements.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for complex enquiries and complaints with regards to compliance and incidents ensuring matters are investigated, managers engaged and responded to appropriately.
Attend and support appropriate operational and workforce forums.
Provide regular service desk reports to key internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Development and maintenance of relationships with operational managers, particularly divisional managers, senior clinical leads and other senior staff as appropriate to ensure service desk reports are relevant and the data and narrative is accessible and meaningful providing valuable insights.Working with establishment systems team, finance and informatics teams to create dashboards showing useful organisational data to enable agile decision making, CIP delivery and operational preparedness.
