Job summary

Are you looking for an exciting, varied and challenging new role?We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Receptionists to support our bustling and friendly Emergency Department at Southend University Hospital NHS Trust.You will work as part of a team to help improve patient experience and quality of care within the Emergency Department.You will be working in both a front line capacity and should have the ability to interact with patients and staff on a daily basis in an efficient and friendly way, staying calm in any situation.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the correct information is recorded using a variety of IT systems, whilst dealing with a variety of queries.

Main duties of the job

Full training will be given to the right candidates on all hospital based systems along with a structured induction.You must be motivated, with good communication, inter-personal and administration skills and be comfortable working in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Planned 4 week rota supplied at interview.
