This is an exciting opportunity to join the sustainability team working to deliver on the Mid and South Essex Greener NHS programme, contributing to Delivering a 'Net Zero'
As the Energy Co-ordinator you will work autonomously to lead the provision of energy management services across the Trust's three hospital sites, focusing on utilities monitoring and reporting, compliance, project identification and development. The post holder will need to advise the Trust on the delivery of energy saving initiatives, ranging from no / low cost actions to major energy projects, liaising with the engineering and sustainability teams for support in development of projects and supervise, coordinate and administer the daily operations and energy utilities across the Trust hospital estate.
Main duties of the job
The position of Energy Coordinator will support the sustainability team in the development and delivery of energy strategies, policies and initiatives throughout the Trust enabling the delivery of an energy efficient and sustainable organisation that satisfies both statutory and mandatory requirements.
