Job summary

An exciting opportunity is on offer for an experienced, highly organised, and confident manager to join our dynamic and talented team.

Working to ensure high levels of compliance for all of our Estates & Facilities Services.

Support in managing the strategy for departmental compliance and assisting in the development, implementation of compliance management systems and improvement targets to obtain external accreditation.

Main duties of the job

Hard FM services includes (but is not limited to) medical gases, heating and ventilation systems Plants, water systems, fire safety, electrical services, pressure systems, waste, decontamination, asbestos, lifts, helideck operations, confined spaces.

Working closely with the Estates & Facilities Management (EFM) Senior Management, local site directors, Team leaders, clinicians, senior managers, along with statutory bodies and external agencies, the post holder will:

Manage and coordinate specialist and professional advice in relation to Hard FM services working across all three acute Trusts and their respective operational management teams.

Attendance at and providing support to specific statutory / mandatory Trust groups and committees including management groups as required.

Manage and coordinate technical advice and guidance on facilities Hard FM services.

Assist in ensuring effective communication is maintained between other relevant staff groups and external agencies in relation to delivery and risk management of Hard FM

Assist in preparing Board reports on Estates and Facilities compliance on behalf of the Director of Specialist Services.

Maintain a robust mechanism for highlighting and escalating risks associated with Hard FM services.
