We are looking for a compassionate, motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team.
As a Registered Nurse you will be required to care for Cancer patients during their clinic appointments; undergoing a variety of treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
A caring, compassionate nature is essential and the RN will be expected to liaise closely with Oncology Consultants, Registrars and Clinical Nurse Specialists, to help co-ordinate the smooth running of their specialist clinics.
Independent thinking also expected, to assist the Senior Sister's with their caseload of patients- requiring dressings, advice, phlebotomy, cannulation, triage phone calls, admissions directly from clinic, administering of PRN medications etc.
The Nursing team also support the Radiotherapy department and their patients during treatment.
Main duties of the job
We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse to ensure that an individual programme of care is planned, implemented and evaluated for each patient within their own sphere of responsibility. They will work as part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the patients. and to act as a positive role model at all times
The ideal candidate will be a 1st or 2nd level registered nurse (RGN) with experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and knowledge of appropriate Oncological treatment options for patients.

Small, close- knit team of 7 nurses, with a diverse range of backgrounds and interests who enjoy working towards a successful outcome for our patients and going home each night with job satisfaction.
Monday to Friday working only, with bank holidays and weekends off.

Conducting a safe handover of care to the wards/ other areas if patients are to be admitted to hospital or transferred.
