We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic pharmacy technician to lead the education and training for our growing pre-registration pharmacy technical team and support staff.
Your core role will be working with the Chief Pharmacy Technician and the Clinical Pharmacist Team Leader for Education & Training to develop and manage education and training for our team. As a keen team player with excellent communication and leadership skills, you should be able to inspire people to achieve their potential and shape the future of our pharmacy workforce.
This role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Relevant experience and good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Main duties of the job

- Leading on the delivery and training for pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support staff
- Overseeing, developing and delivering structured training programmes and schedules for apprentices of all levels, and sourcing suitable training providers to deliver courses
- Planning and prioritising your own workload and organising staff training in liaison with other service managers
- Be a direct line manager for the pre-registration pharmacy technicians
- Participate in the delivery of Medicines Optimisation including supporting dispensary and ward based services
- Finally accuracy checking in the dispensary as rostered.
