Brief Description of the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of staff nurse within the Endoscopy unit on a full-time basis.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 staff nurses to work on the new Endoscopy unit. The work is challenging and exciting but equally rewarding. We care for patients with all gastroenterology conditions and the high level of nursing care and expertise involved in caring for these patients will be reflected in the staff: patient ratio.

The post is based at the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

A structured preceptorship period of training and development will be provided with the support of the Endoscopy Practice Development Nurse.

Brief Description of the Unit:

The Endoscopy Unit is based at BRI located on two floors, level 2 and 3. It is a busy unit providing out-patient care for patients who require all types of endoscopy procedures. Effective and efficient patient flow is essential, and your role is to provide excellent nursing care and compassion in line with the rest of the team providing excellent nursing care and promoting positive patient experiences and outcomes.
