Bradford Teaching Hospitals Intensive Care Unit offers 8 Level 3 beds and 8 Level 2 beds. The service provides high quality, complex care to some of our most vulnerable patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Maintain clinical knowledge in nursing and particularly in the specialty of the Ward or Department.
  • Acts as an Assessor/Mentor and act as preceptor.
  • Work within the NMC Code of Practice.
  • Practice agreed models of nursing and systems of care as directed by Ward/Departmental Manager.
  • Be involved in new initiatives, supporting the Ward/Departmental Manager in the implementation of them.
