We have a 12 month opportunity for a Continuity Teams Manager/ Community Midwifery Manager to manage our existing continuity teams and design and develop any future teams. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking experienced midwife to lead and develop services and people towards excellence in providing midwifery care in the continuity context.
Main duties of the job
To provide expert clinical advice in relation to the education, management and leadership of teams of midwives and support staff
To report on and share learning in relation to the implementation of the continuity of care model, both from a patient experience, care provision and workforce perspective
To lead in the development, co-ordination, management and evaluation of the continuity of care model
To line manage and have 24 hour responsibility for designated continuity teams
To provide support to the community managers and provide cross cover when required
