We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Children's Therapy department. We are a well-established, friendly team looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Physiotherapist who is keen to specialise their career in the challenging but rewarding field of Paediatrics. This is a full-time, permanent post of 37.5 hours.
The Children's Therapy Team is an integrated Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team providing a service for children aged 0-19 years. This post will mainly be based within the Child Development Centre at St Luke's Hospital but community work is involved. The post holder will enjoy a varied caseload including the assessment and treatment of neurological, developmental and Musculoskeletal conditions.
Main duties of the job
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a passion to work with children. Previous general paediatric experience is desirable but full support and mentorship will be provided. You will have a mixed caseload of both MSK and neuro conditions.
Ideally you will have twelve months broad post registration physiotherapy experience.
