Experience

Essential

• Knowledge and experience of appropriate procurement methods.
• Experience of operational maintenance management, engineering plant, services, equipment and development schemes.
• Knowledge and experience of risk management.
• Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety within the built environment.
• Experience of staff management.
• Experience of operations and maintenance of buildings, engineering plant, services & equipment.
• Significant post qualification relevant experience

Desirable

• Healthcare engineering services and systems.

Skills

Essential

• Ability to lead, motivate and develop team building and encourage team interaction.
• Ability to manage change.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Knowledge

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Estates management related databases.

Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to Degree level in a relevant engineering discipline or hold a relevant professional qualification plus equivalent skills and experience.
• Corporate membership of a relevant professional institute; IET, CIBSE, IHEEM
