The jobholder will work as part of the Healthcare Contracts & Overseas Visitor Team providing comprehensive administration support as well as ensuring that contact with patients and Trust staff are dealt with professionally and promptly in line with set service standards. The post will involve the use of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, Healthcare Contract Databases, along with liaising with other internal teams as well as external agencies and GP practices, amongst others.
Main duties of the job
To provide administration and clerical support to the Healthcare Contracts & Overseas Visitors Services, ensuring departmental targets and compliance with standard operating procedures and carry out other administration / clerical duties as required to support the team, in order to maintain consistency and continuity of service.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally.

Access and update patient records using electronic systems (e.g. EPR, NCRS).

Support appointment booking and evidence checking processes.

Maintain accurate data entry and record management across multiple systems.

Liaise with patients, internal departments, and external stakeholders.

Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and promotional materials.

Assist with training days, meeting arrangements, and general team support.

Follow GDPR, safeguarding, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Contribute to departmental projects and continuous service improvement.

Flexibly support other departments across the Trust when required.
