An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinical Trials Administrator in the Respiratory Research team, BRI..
This is an exciting post within Bradford Teaching Hospitals and a great opportunity for expanding knowledge and experience of clinical research in the Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and support of clinical research trial portfolios as required. The post holder must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and good organisational skills. Must be willing to travel between sites
Main duties of the job
The post involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams and will involve the collection and documentation of accurate data. The post holder will take part in all aspects of clinical trials admin including managing site files and ensuring logs and amendments are up to date and in good order
The post also involves Educating patients and training relevant health care workers regarding trial protocols.

The post-holder is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clinical support for commercial trials within the CRF. The post-holder will ensure that all trial protocols are adhered to and will liaise with all internal/external parties involved in the set up maintenance and closure of clinical trial studies. The post-holder will assist with all administrative aspects of Clinical Trials Management for the Respiratory Research team and PRC. The role involves working closely with researchers and commercial sponsors and multidisciplinary team members, thus facilitating a high quality research service.

The post holder will need to use initiative and work independently and will be expected to undertake a full range of clerical duties to improve efficiency and service delivery. The post requires high quality and effective written and verbal communication skills.
