Job summary

We seek a dynamic and experienced Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the development and implementation of a Trusts & Foundations strategy and grow relationships with trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies to increase income and engagement and explore new charity partnerships and funding opportunities.

The post holder will manage the development and implementation of the Trusts & Foundations fundraising strategy and play a crucial role in securing funding for our organisation by developing compelling proposals and grant applications to trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies.

This role requires excellent writing, research, and communication skills and a deep understanding of the UK charity sector and Trusts and Foundations fundraising landscape.

The post holder will comply with both Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Conduct and Codes of Best Practice.

Main duties of the job

To lead and develop the management of the Trusts & Foundations income stream for Bradford Hospitals Charity to support the Trust in delivering ambitious aims within the Bradford Hospitals Charity Strategy.

The role is instrumental in securing and developing new relationships whilst maintaining existing ones to increase contributions from charitable Trusts and Foundations and explore new charity partnerships and funding opportunities.

You will work to raise awareness of the charity, it's vision and goals.

  • Experience in grant writing, proposal development, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing Fundraising Target and financial budget.
  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet grant application deadlines.
  • Experience of engaging and supporting staff to develop projects including budget considerations and project impact.
  • Experience of collaborating with other organisations/charities to deliver joint Trust and Foundations applications.
  • Ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the organisations values
  • Experience of producing detailed written reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
