Job summary

As Head of Applications and Development you will be the driving force behind the implementation and maintenance of innovative digital tools, technologies and solutions which are to be delivered and maintained to support the organisation's strategic imperatives.Applicants must have, and be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of leading the delivery of enterprise-class application services.
  • A strong understanding of the full life cycle of software development and implementation - Including Azure DevOps/similar technologies.
  • PowerPlatform and associated modern tooling.
  • Integration practices and disciplines.
  • Data modelling and architecture concepts and practices.

Main duties of the job

The primary objective of this post is to support the formulation of future application and development strategy in order to guide the Trust through transformation and optimisation initiatives. This will include helping the organisation achieve targeted outcomes related to growing revenue, optimising costs and mitigating risks.

They will focus on building relationships with business and IT stakeholders, communicating the value and the services it offers, and shaping and guiding the delivery of application and development services.
