An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and professional finance team as a Deputy Finance Manager in one of the Corporate or Clinical Services. We can offer the right individual the opportunity to train towards a professional qualification in Accountancy, such as CIMA, whilst developing their personal skills and work-based experience. Main duties of the job
The major responsibilities of the role are working with and assisting the Finance Manager in providing robust, accurate and timely information to budget holders. You will also assist with the monthly production of internal management accounts and liaising with relevant budget holders to gather and disseminate information and help them understand their financial position and develop their services. There is also responsibility for management of a support team consisting of Band 5 and Band 3 staff.
