Job summary

We have vacancies for full time and part time experienced Health care assistance or trainees within the field of Intermediate Care and rehabilitation.

The post would be based on F5 St Luke's Hospital.

We are keen to hear from individuals who enjoy caring for Elderly people in a ward setting.

Main duties of the job

You will work under the supervision of qualified nurses on the ward, giving personal cares to Elderly rehabilitation patients.

You will work as part of a team.

Training will be given to be able to carry out your role.

  • Numeracy skills (demonstrated through qualifications or experience)

  • GCSE Maths and English grades A-D or equivalent i.e. Functional skills level 1
  • Minimum NVQ/QCF Diploma or Apprenticeship at Level 2 in Health & Social Care or in Care (Essential for Band 2 HCA, but training may be offered see below**)
  • Care Certificate (Essential for Band 2 HCA, but training may be offered see below***)
