Job summary

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Diagnostic Radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality radiology service within a busy imaging department as part of the Radiology team.

We are looking to appoint two Radiologists with a sub specialty in Gynecological and Chest Radiology.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join a team of 28 other Consultant Radiologists in Bradford and contribute to the diagnostic on call rota, approximately 1:15. The successful candidate will work at the Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Lukes Hospital and Eccleshill Community Diagnostic Centre.

Qualifications

Essential

  • MBChB or equivalent. FRCr or equivalent, Member of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK) or equivalent. CCT or within 6 months of AAC date. On Specialist Register with GMC and continue to hold a licence to practise.

Experience

Essential

  • Evidence of completing an approved period of training in Radiology

Desirable

  • Evidence of a developing special interest or additional related training eg research/education/clinical management
