An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Born in Bradford team.
We are looking for an Apprentice Data Administrator to provide support to the BiB Project Office and IT Development Team. The post will assist in data entry, mail outs, booking and arranging meetings, prepare reports and assist with data quality management.
Applicants will need to be adaptable and flexible in their approach to work and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be reliable and trustworthy and have good attention to detail. You will also have good people and communication skills, and have experience using IT.
Successful candidates will be employed on a 18 month (37.5 hours per week) fixed term contract.
Main duties of the job
This role provides administrative and data analysis support to the Born in Bradford project. The post holder will work under the direct supervision of the Born in Bradford Business Admin Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Research Administrators and Data Analysts to ensure the smooth running of the Born in Bradford research project. Key areas of work are: preparing documents and equipment for research visits, extracting information and inputting data accurately.
As part of the role the post holder will work towards the Level 3 Data Essentials Apprenticeship which will include learning about and assisting with the management of data quality, using data management and reporting tools, statistics and data visualisation.
You will have 1 dedicated study day a week and 1:1 support throughout the Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within your department. The qualification is fully funded and you will not have to pay anything towards it.
There is an eligibility criterion for government funded apprenticeship schemes that applies and therefore applicants should be aged 16 or over and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years. You must not hold a degree, level four qualification or above and have been resident in the UK/EU for the last three years.
