Job summary

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of ward clerk on Ward 18, Bradford Royal Infirmary.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated ward clerk to work on the surgical inpatient Head and Neck and Urology ward. The work is challenging and exciting, but rewarding.

Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in challenging circumstances.
  • Ability to effectively time manage your workload.
  • Be able to work evenings 15:00 - 19:00 and also cover day shifts as required to cover annual leave.

Main duties of the job

  • Ability to keep calm and work under pressure in a demanding area using team work.
  • Be computer literate and familiar with the EPR system.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
