Job summary
Due to the expansion of the Education Service at BTHFT we are looking for a new Education Lead to over see Mandatory and Statutory Training. The post holder will be a member of the senior team in education and will be pivotal in driving the service forward.
Main duties of the job
This exciting new role will be responsible for the Core Skills Training Framework, The Oliver McGown Mandatory training on Learning Disabilities and Autism as well as other mandatory subjects.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Willingness to undertake training and development as identified through the PDP process

- Experience in the management of multi-professional teams underpinned by formal management training
- Experience of Mandatory and Statutory training requirements for NHS Trusts, or registered healthcare organisations

- Experience of design, delivery, and evaluation of a broad range of learning and development programmes
- Understanding and experience of complex information analysis essential for informing business, finance and workforce decisions
- Previous experience in operational and strategic planning including options appraisal methodology, project/service development and change management
