Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administration Clerk to join our friendly, multi-disciplinary team. The postholder will be responsible for providing administration and clerical support to the Cochlea Implant Service. The Administration Clerk will be responsible for providing administration and clerical support to the Yorkshire Auditory Implant Service (YAIS).

Main duties of the job

The role includes actioning referrals, entering data onto a patient management system, booking appointments including patient transport and interpreters, cashing up clinics as necessary, and dealing with telephone calls and face to face enquiries from the public, staff, and other Health Care Providers. Experience

Essential

  • Working experience/knowledge of computers, data input and/or word processing
  • Previous receptionist/clerical experience in an administrative setting
  • Experience of working face to face and/or telephone contact with the general public

Desirable

  • Experience of offering suggestions for improving own or team working practices.
  • Previous NHS experience

Knowledge

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Auditbase and/or Patient Administration System

Qualifications
