Brief Description of the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the JU:MP. The successful applicant will work as part of the Research and Implementation team and will provide administrative/finance support to the teams and JU:MP management.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of an initiative which will have real impact on improving health and wellbeing for children and young people in some of the most deprived communities in Bradford by promoting physical activity. JU:MP is being delivered by Born in Bradford is on behalf of Active Bradford and is one of 12 sites in England which has been chosen to work with Sport England to create innovative solutions to make it easier for communities to be active.

Main duties of the job

JU:MP is the Bradford Local Delivery Pilot funded by Sport England to better understand what helps people to be active in their communities. JU:MP aims to test and learn more about what helps children aged 5 - 14 years and their families to be active. JU:MP is piloting a whole systems approach to increasing children's physical activity levels by working with families, communities, schools and organisations, and by making improvements to the environment in North Bradford. Applicants will need to be adaptable and flexible in their approach to work and demonstrate excellent finance, IT, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You must be reliable and trustworthy and have good attention to detail.
