Job summary
We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Data Engineer to contribute to the new Secure Data Environment for the Connected Bradford database. This Connected Bradford post will be based at the Bradford Institute for Health Research (BIHR). The Data Engineer will work under the supervision of the Research Data Infrastructure Manager within the Connected Bradford and will be a key member of the team. The Data Engineer will bring key experience in data management, engineering or analysis to help solve real world problems.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will work under the management, supervision and mentorship of the Research Data Infrastructure Manager, to ensure the successful development of the Connected Bradford Secure Database Environment. The postholder will work closely with the other Data Engineers as appropriate to ensure the successful evaluation of all Connected Bradford projects. The postholder will manage their own workload and duties to implement the Secure Database Environment workstream of the Connected Bradford programme.
