The Business Intelligence (BI) team play a vital role, ensuring complex information from a wide range of clinical and administrative systems is available to users at all levels of the organisation, driving improved decision making about patient care.
The Senior BI Analyst will
- undertake a specialist role in maintaining and developing data processes to continually improve the integrity of the Trusts end to end data/information flows.
- provide specialist advice to Trust stakeholders from ward to Board, based on their expert knowledge of data; measurement, monitoring and reporting, audit and control methodologies applicable to multiple administrative and clinical information systems.

This will require working with staff at a range of levels within the organisation such as information staff, service users and leads, other relevant stakeholders including heads of services/directors.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will produce high quality activity based information to support clinical and management teams within the organisation.
The post holder will assist the BI Manager by managing other members of the BI Team and developing, maintaining and operating reporting services information systems in order that routine corporate information outputs are produced in the most efficient and effective manner to deadlines.
The Post holder will interpret complex routine information requests from across the wider Foundation Trust, in particular for Clinical Teams, Finance and Performance and Access, in line with national and locally contractual requirements
The Post holder will use advanced data analysis technics, corporate reporting systems and Business Intelligence reporting tools, with other members of the team to design, test and produce appropriate and fit for purpose new or updated report outputs, automating and delegating the routine delivery of these report outputs to other colleagues when appropriate.
