Job summary

If you are a caring, dynamic and innovative registered nurse than we would like you to come and work with us looking after elderly and intermediate care patients. The ward is managed by the senior sister and her team with support from the Elderly Care Consultants from St Luke's Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary. You will have access to training such as in dementia. We are passionate about elderly care and are an established welcoming team.

Main duties of the job

Staff newly appointed into the service will be provided with a competence package and they will be supported and developed in this role to not only become competent elderly care nurses but become nurses who will deliver a "first class" service to our patient's.

Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required

  • Adult Registered Nurse Qualification with a current NMC PIN number or awaiting registration
  • Health Service related Degree/Diploma
  • Previous experience of Care of the Elderly not essential
  • Interest in managing patients with long term conditions
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills
