An exciting opportunity has arisen for Training and Education Sister to join the Unplanned care group here at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The role promises to be both interesting and challenging involving teaching, assessing and supporting the educational needs of all members of the nursing teams within the care group across a diverse range of specialties.
We're looking for a charismatic and engaging individual who can connect with clinical nursing teams at all levels and support cultural/behavioral changes within teams to ensure improvements in the delivery of the best possible patient experience.
If you are a Registered Nurse with a recognized teaching qualification and evidence of Level 3 studies with a relevant post registration experience and you have a portfolio of evidence demonstrating significant achievements in senior clinical nursing roles within the Acute Hospital setting then you are encouraged to apply.
Main duties of the job
You will play a pivotal role in encouraging the development of a learning culture where both education and lifelong learning are seen as integral to clinical practice.
The role aims to enhance the quality of the learning environment and positively contributes to the development of a workforce which is fit for purpose.
You will need to be a resourceful and resilient individual with a positive attitude who is able to manage a complex and diverse training workload, has excellent organizational skills and most importantly has a genuine passion for teaching others.
