Brief Description of the Role:

Born in Bradford (www.borninbradford.nhs.uk) are looking for organised, motivated and enthusiastic community research assistants to join our team BiB Age of Wonder (AoW). This is an exciting, once in a life time opportunity to be part of this unique research programme which really makes a difference to the health and lives of children and families.

The successful candidates will work across other Born in Bradford research studies collecting data if needed in clinics and other community settings.

The data collected across AoW will contribute towards the understanding and improving the health and wellbeing of young people in Bradford, nationally and internationally. Training will be provided to carry out measures in schools.

Main duties of the job

The findings from all studies will be used to influence policy makers, health professionals and educationalists and help them improve service provision.

The post holders will play a key role in the recruitment and data collection of on-going and new studies within the Born in Bradford Programme. The post holders will be organised and able to work under their own initiative to meet tight deadlines as well as having an approachable, friendly and polite manner.
