We have a comprehensive IST Programme and dedicated time for personal development. All staff take part in the Trust's appraisal process. There will be opportunity to take part in Audit and protocol development.
Please note applicants must have good experience of managing all aspects of spinal conditions.
Main duties of the job
The post will offer the opportunity to work in the outpatient department assessing and treating patients with spinal conditions. This includes acute and chronic conditions, post-interventional and post-surgical management. Additionally, we deliver the Escape Pain spinal programme in a community setting.
Patients are referred from GPs and Consultants and we operate a staff self-referral scheme for BTHFT employees. This role involves working closely with another Band 7 Spinal Team leaders, APPs in spine, MSK Triage Team (APP and GPwER MSK), Pain Consultants and any other health professions involved in a patient's care.
The successful candidate will manage a team of Band 6, 5 and assistant staff and contribute to appropriate training programmes and you will be supported by a team of other Band 7s, MSK Therapy Coordinators and APP staff.

- Significant post graduate experience.
