An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our highly regarded Cardiology Team on ward 22 as one of our valued health care assistants.
We are currently seeking to recruit caring, ambitious and hardworking individuals to join our friendly, motivated and forward thinking team. You will have the opportunity to work within our 6 bedded high dependency Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and the cardiology step down ward (18 beds).
In return for your dedication and hard work, the unit actively encourages education & development. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills and gain experience with a supportive team.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work in and observe elective and acute procedures in our purpose built day-case unit and catheter lab. This will expand your knowledge and skills and you will have a better understanding when recovering patients from the cardiac procedures we carry out both electively and acutely
Main duties of the job
All candidates will participate in our bespoke cardiology HCA training and development program.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
NVQ 2 and care certificate desirable.
Phlebotomy and cannulation Skills desirable.
