Job summary
Do you enjoy working with children, young people and families?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian to join our friendly team of Paediatric Dietitians. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in paediatric dietetics, under the supervision of experienced Band 7 and Band 6 paediatric dietitians. The role will include inpatient and outpatient work - responding to referrals from our children's ward and short stay assessment unit, a weekly outpatient clinic and patient telephone calls and reviews to support the dietetic led cow's milk allergy service.
The role is B5 or B6 depending upon your stage in your career. If you are newly or recently qualified then you will be supported through a period of preceptorship and training. B6 will be considered for those with more clinical experience.
Main duties of the job
We are currently a team of 5 Paediatric Dietitians, and have support from a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner in addition to Team secretarial / admin support.
