Job summary

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant with a caring nature and proactive professional manner to provide a high standard of care for our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a someone with good communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a strong and effective team.

Main duties of the job

Clinical procedures to include, but not limited to:

o Phlebotomy and venepuncture

o Electrocardiograms (ECGs)

o Blood pressure monitoring (including ambulatory/home readings)

o Urinalysis

o INR monitoring in line with agreed pathways

o Complex wound care under supervision

o NHS Health Checks, including basic cholesterol awareness

o Smoking cessation advice and brief interventions

o New patient health checks and routine observations
