Community Facilities Assistant

Job summary

2 Positions available. 1 x 30 hours per week (5 x 6 hour shifts) 1 x 24 hours per week (4x6 hour shifts).

Shift times include 06:00 - 12:00, 07:30 - 13:30 and 13:30 - 19:30.

Our Facilities Assistant work as part of the Facilities Management team to carry out a range of duties associated with the provision of professional cleaning, catering and patient support activities. This role demands the respect of patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.

Main duties of the job

• Daily Cleaning of the hospital environment.
• Providing a daily patient meal service.
• Communicating with all relevant stakeholders.
• Work within the schedules prepared by the Facilities leadership team.
• Ability to make decisions regarding the order of their work to meet priorities and patient needs.
• Work without direct supervision.
