We have an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team in a part time post within the Clinical Health Psychology Service, providing administrative support to clinical colleagues.
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties including supporting our clinicians with high quality secretarial skills.
Although we are not asking for a higher-level qualification for this role, we require the successful candidate to hold GCSE's in Maths and English at grade C or above and RSA III (or evidenced equivalent).

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality secretarial, administrative and clerical service to ensure an effective and efficient service in accordance with departmental and Trust Standard Operating Procedures.
- To support the Service Improvement Lead and Lead Administrators to undertake change management.
- To ensure that patients are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- To manage and maintain inpatient and outpatient psychology clinics on a daily basis, ensuring patient files are kept up to date throughout their treatment within the Service.
- You will be required to be flexible at times to provide administrative cover across the Clinical Health Psychology Service during staff absences.

You will therefore be joining us at an exciting time of change as we begin to take forward these ideas to the wider organisation.
You will be working within the Administration Team and work closely with the Clinical Staff maintaining their clinics and patient administration from the point of a referral being received through the patient journey until they are discharged from the service. We have a mix of Psychological professions within in the Service working from Torbay Hospital Site and Castle Circus Health Centre.
The Lead Administrators manages the day to day requirements between the Team and assists with prioritising. The Post-Holder will receive line management and supervision from the Neuropsychology Lead Administrator and all identified training on a regular basis. You may be asked to cover additional administration duties at times of colleagues' annual leave or sickness across the Service.
