Job summary

This is a One Devon EPR Programme central role. Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is advertising this central role on behalf of the One Devon EPR Programme.

Subject Matter Experts and Super Users are critical to EPR success and adoption. They bring expert, local knowledge to the programme to ensure the needs of users are understood and delivered and during go-live and stabilisation Super Users are the key at-the-elbow support to staff on the floor and act as a conduit for communications, issue management and between the programme team, leadership teams and end users.

The SME & Super User Programme Lead is responsible for the strategic direction, co-ordination and project management of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Super User initiatives within the One Devon EPR Programme. These initiatives will ensure that the EPR programme has effective levels of operational support throughout the implementation lifecycle and that SMEs, Superusers and other key stakeholders remain engaged, informed and supported, throughout the EPR implementation including go-live and stabilisation periods. As a key part of the initiatives, the post holder will also be responsible for the planning, coordination and oversight of end user support at Trust go-lives, including the management of visiting external floorwalkers and will foster close working relationships with EPR Training Teams, Communications and Engagement Teams, CXIOs and Programme and Operational Leadership

Main duties of the job

o Responsible for the planning and organisation of numerous events/meetings to engage and educate SMEs, Super Users & other floor supporto Demonstrate effective stakeholder management across different departments and at all levelso Support other project, programme and workstream managers as and when requiredo Ensure that the initiatives maintain business focus, have clear authority and that the context, including risks, are actively managed in alignment with the EPR Programme Guiding Principles

You will work as part of the centralised One Devon Programme Team, liaising with stakeholders from across Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Plymouth to ensure the EPR Programme is successfully implemented across the region.

The EPR Programme team is rapidly expanding as we move towards implementation, and this is an exciting time for our Trusts as we collaborate to deliver this unique programme of transformation across Devon.
