As a Delivery Manager for the Torbay and South Devon (TSDFT) Delivery, Markets and Contracts Team the post holder will play a hands-on role supporting transformation and cost improvement programmes of work, implementing and supporting special projects across the Adult Social Care (ASC) from conception through to implementation.
The ASC Transformation and Cost Improvement workplan (also known as the Adult Social Care Improvement Plan (ASCiP)) within TSDFT will support achieving improved outcomes, client experience, and efficiency (cost reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity). It will also be a significant enabler for the organisation's Care Accounts programme of work, which sees the Trust implement the statutory requirement to deliver the 'Care Cap' obligations which will make a difference in how services are delivered and the environment we need to support delivery of ASC.
The post holder will need to have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects/plans concurrently, including interdependencies, within an environment of change. They will communicate effectively with the Integrated Service Units (ISUs) and across the trust to ensure that a culture of improvement and efficient delivery is developed and embedded.
Main duties of the job
The ASC Transformation and Cost Improvement workplan within TSDFT, of which the special project Care Accounts is included, will support achieving improved outcomes, client experience, and efficiency (cost reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity).
