Corner Place Surgery has an opening to enhance our in-house pharmacy team and provide an opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain a qualification of a Pharmacy Technician. This is a 2 year fixed term apprenticeship as an Integrated Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (PTPT). The chosen individual will work on a rotational basis between the practice and Well Pharmacy and undertake the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians Qualification.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work on a rotational basis, gaining competencies and experience as defined by the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians Qualification. This will include a wide range of duties which includes dispensing, medicines supply, procurement and stock control, medicines management, medicines optimisation and GP practice/PCN activities.

All duties carried out by the Integrated Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician will be under direct supervision and operating within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
