  • Work independently to an appropriate level, under supervision and abiding by the professional guidelines and code of conduct for registered clinical psychologists.
  • Support research activity including audit, service evaluation, literature reviews and research as required and in agreement with the Clinical Psychology Lead and managers of the service.
  • The post-holder is responsible for his/her own workload, but is expected to engage with regular supervision from a qualified Clinical Psychologist and review through the management process.

About us

Children and Family Health Devon is a system-wide service that delivers an integrated, coordinated support model which wraps around the child, young person and family. It has been specifically designed to respond to all elements of the commissioner's strategy and specification along with the vision and strategic direction of the STP.

It builds on our strong relationships across education, health, social care and voluntary sector services in Devon, and, most importantly, it has been developed and refined in partnership with children, young people and their families/carers.

Why work with us- Torbay Hospital provides acute care for the local community and has several community hospitals, and is a hot-spot for those who are considering living by the sea or within half an hour of Dartmoor National Park and an hour to Exmoor National Park. Meanwhile, Plymouth and Exeter are also both within a short drive to enjoy the culture, maritime history and shopping experiences.
