Medical Workforce Advisor - Fixed Term 12 Month Contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

A newly created role within our Medical Workforce Service will utilise your existing HR skills and develop new ones. You will be responsible for supporting the team to provide a high quality, professional and specialist medical and dental HR & OD advice to managers and medical staff across the Trust on a range of HR, OD and workforce issues.
For this role we are looking for HR professionals, who ideally have knowledge of medical terms and conditions that can provide expert support on medical workforce issues and projects.
The role requires strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
The Medical Workforce Service provides wrap around support to all our medical staff and operational managers. Each day brings its own challenges, as such you will need to be confident working both autonomously and managing a small team.
If you are new to all things Medical Workforce we will work with you to support and develop your knowledge in this area.
Main duties of the job
One of the key priorities of the role will be working on the procurement and implementation of a new eRostering system for our Medical Workforce. This will include the design, development and delivery of the system.

It is responsible for supporting our Medical Staff with regardsto all aspects of Medical HR, Strategy, planningand Organisational Development.
The Trust provides high quality training to Medical & Dental Students and Doctors in Training.We work in collaboration with our local partners in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate medical education training programmes.
We employ approx. 600 doctors including Doctors & Dentists in Training, Speciality Doctors, Specialist Doctors and Consultants.
