Manage and deliver IM&T projects within both national and local programmes of work across all South Devon Healthcare Community sites
The Specialist Project Manager directly controls a number of projects some may be complex and large-scale, and may also have responsibility for the line management of a number of Project Managers or Leads, Project Staff and also lead larger multi-disciplinary project teams
Specifically, the Specialist Project Manager has both extensive clinical knowledge and experience and enhances this role through highly developed IT Project Management, Change Management and analytical experience which encompass a number of project streams within these fields

Main duties of the job
Planning and organising an extensive range of highly complex projects and integrated programmes of work, many of which will have conflicting priorities, funding and resource issues
Managing and controlling the scope of projects in a fast-changing health environment ensuring that the project remains deliverable within the estimated effort and time parameters, or agree extensions if required
Creating and managing all core project documentation including project plans, risk logs, issue logs, meeting minutes and project budgets etc.
Day to day line management of Project Managers / leads including handling career development, appraisals, Personnel issues, the planning, allocation and reviewing of work together with the identification of training needs
